This site has thousands of downloadable worksheets suitable for preschool to Grade 3. They also have a selection of books which you can download, print and assemble, including the well-known Tommy Tales series.

>> ABC Teach | FREE plus a subscription section
They have more than 6,000 free printables, on subjects like Holidays, Word Walls, Portfolios,Theme units, Seasonal Units, Basics, and Shapebooks. Great for parents, teachers and homeschoolers. They also have a membership section ($35 a year) with more than 20,000 pages.

The best deal for reading teachers on the Net. Thousands of leveled readers for guided reading. Try out the free books and see for yourself.
>> Kids Zone | FREE
Another site with lots of printable worksheets for preK to Grade 6. You can also create custom tracing pages in your choice of font (including cursive). Only downside with this site is that they have annoying pop-up ads but I guess they have toget income from somewhere to run the free site.
>> A to Z Teacher Stuff | FREE plus some chargable materials
A great site for lesson Plans and printables with themes, tips, printable Emergent readers and teacher Downloads. They have well attended discussion forums. Free materials but some downloadables you have to pay for.

>> French Property for Sale | FREE listings
French teachers-inexpensive property for sale in the sunny south of France.

>> School Express | FREE plus a subscription section
More than 8,000 worksheets and activity pages, 130 software programs, journal writing, funtime area, make awards, and more. They also have a membership section ($24.95 a year) with 165 thematic units and 230 eWorkbooks.
>> Printed books for sale has resources to build the early fundamental skills of reading. (Dolch Sight Words, Decoding with Vowels & Syllables, Context Clues and a manual for Phonics Rules! The materials are written by veteran teacher and are useful for instruction, reinforcement or remediation.

>>America Reads Challenge FREE
Program seeks to have every American child reading well and independently by the end of 3rd grade. Site includes directory of program participants, resource kit, and information on getting involved.

>>Enchanted Learning | FREE plus a subscription section
A great site with masses of free resources, however it is not very well designed and you have to hunt for what you are looking for. In spite of the bad organization, this site is well worth a visit.
>>Billy Bear for Kids FREE
Another site with lots of free resources. The downside is tha advertising and pop-ups. I guess we have to put up with some inconvenience to get free stuff!

>>Book Adventure FREE
A reading motivation program for children in grades K-8. It offers recommended reading lists by grade level along with rewards for reading accomplishments.

>>The Catch Up Program UK Program for sale
Literacy intervention program designed for use with primary school children who have difficulty with reading and writing.

>>CyberGuides FREE, excellent
Standards-based, teacher-designed, Web-searching and writing/reading activities for K-12 students; based on core literature.
